Gianna Hill, PsyD, MS

Dr. Gianna Hill is a licensed clinical psychologist and fellowship-trained neuropsychologist specializing in concussion assessment and recovery-focused care. She brings advanced training in sport neuropsychology and a strong understanding of the cognitive, emotional, and physical demands placed on law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency responders, and other public safety professionals.

Dr. Hill completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Sport Neuropsychology at the Inova Sports Medicine Concussion Program, one of the nation’s leading programs for concussion care and research. Her training included the assessment and treatment of mild traumatic brain injuries resulting from sports, motor vehicle accidents, workplace incidents, and other causes. She is experienced with evidence-based assessment tools such as ImPACT, SCAT-6, and VOMS and works collaboratively with physicians, physical therapists, and occupational health professionals.

Her approach extends beyond symptom evaluation. Dr. Hill helps individuals understand their recovery, manage sleep and stress, gradually resume physical and cognitive activity, and safely progress toward returning to work or duty. She has experience treating patients across the lifespan and supporting individuals experiencing complex or prolonged concussion symptoms.

Dr. Hill earned her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Adler University, with an emphasis in neuropsychology. She also holds a Master of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan. Her research and clinical work have been presented at national professional conferences, and she received the Sport Neuropsychology Society’s Outstanding Postdoctoral Trainee Award.
