Psychoeducational Evaluations

Our neuropsychologists on staff can provide psychoeducational evaluations to understand the needs of the client and diagnose various learning disabilities. These evaluations can also get the client different types of support in schools. In addition, the evaluations will assist in getting a IEP (Individualized Education Program) or 504 plan which help schools to accommodate the student in a way that suits them best.

This evaluation usually takes about 4-6 hours, depending on the speed of the client. There is also an intake appointment, before the testing appointment, is where the doctor gains relevant history and information. There is a feedback appointment, which is usually around 3 weeks after the testing appointment, where the doctor will go through the results of testing with the client and their parents and are given diagnoses and recommendations that are tailored to each client.
